Just thinking out loud

Someone pass automatic driving test. They get their provisional DL taken off them, and get send their full DL, this only permit them to drive auto.

So when they want to give manual a go, what is the process in term of the issue of DL?

They can use their full (automatic) DL as a provisional licence to drive a manual vehicle..

Providing they are accompanied by a suitably qualified driver of a manual vehicle
