Having  had a very quick look at the MIN 3600TL-XE data sheet, it seems that there could be RS485 being output from the Sys Com port.

Your shinelan will have an ip address, if you put that into your browser, doesn't it show the dataloggers built in web server?

Oh this looks fun! Just bought a new house that supposedly has a Growatt, but they told me it's in my consumer unit when it's not and no one can tell me where it is. This thread makes it seem a bit disappointing though. Is it worth getting the LAN or Wifi addon and can you do it yourself? (provided I ever locate the box)

You can of course, just buy something like a shelly EM and put the CT clamp around the live from the inveter and monitor power that way but you don't get all the nice data the inverter records.

I guess I'll dig out the ladder and check. Of course, I'll probably end up being the only house which doesn't have it in a convenient location.

Edit: Installer confirmed it's in the loft. ugh. Guess I'll see if I can get the wifi addon so I can at least get the data without going up there.

They've kind of admitted there are issues with this message you get when opening Shinephone, hopefully it'll sort the issues out!

Yeah I'd noticed that, I admire your optimism 

When talking to support I gave them a few of my 'want' ideas, it will be interesting to see if anything is implemented. We'll have to wait and see what Saturday brings.
