E: 08/12 Win a spectacular Highland break for two in Port Appin
Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for three nights, B&B, in a Seaview room at the Pierhouse Hotel in Port Appin, Argyll. Set on the shore of Loch Linnhe, this former pier-master’s house has just 12 charming bedrooms, and serves magnificent Highland views as well as the freshest of seafood.
The mussels, crab and lobster are all local, and if you order langoustine you may actually see it being gathered from one of the kreels by the pier. With ingredients this good, the head chef Michael Leathley cooks with the lightest of touches; and with big walks and bike rides beckoning – as well as Land Rover safaris across the water on Lismore – you are sure to have the appetite to do his menu justice.
The prize includes one three-course dinner for two, with a bottle of house wine, and must be taken before June 5, 2022, excluding public holidays and some blackout dates.
