Every payment is significant! Well done everybody! OPs are easier said than done and each month I ask myself should I stop OP for a while? I am soldiering on for now! #99 reporting in with a total overpayment for March of £606.51 and amended totals for January and February. I'd forgotten to include the massive £12.31 overpayment that I make each month by rounding up my direct debit to the nearest £50! So January's total should have been £789.84 and February's should have been £587.00MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000. Thank you so much for your updates everyone! Especially great to see some of you catching up on updates for the last few months. We're quite close to £200k now, let's see if the post-payday updates can get us across that line
To everyone who's not happy with your current level of overpayments: It all adds up, faster than you think. It's so easy to look at £20 or £50 and think 'is this even worth it?', but when you work out what difference it makes down the line, it really changes the perspective. We're all running a marathon here, not a sprint.6 -
