Self administered antigen tests with a certificate validity

Yes they are fine. Anything where a third party ‘validates’ the results, are ok.1

The irony of all this is that nobody checks the forms.
I flew back to Brum from Tenerife yesterday and it wasn't checked at either airport.
A lot of stress for nothing (I cut my holiday short so had precisely 1 full day in Tenerife. As I had covid a couple of weeks ago I didn't want to risk testing positive out there with any lingering covid)0 -

No, pre-arrival test is not linked to PLF, only post arrival where you put ref number. It's the same for vaccination proof, you don't upload it in the form, so no one really checks if you're vaccinated or not on arrival.

I'm traveling back to the UK from America on Sunday. Really struggling to find a rapid antigen test that provides certification for the pre-departure test though.
Does anyone who has recently returned from America know if the cheap $24 Antigen kits available at Welgreen, CVS etc provide certification?0 -

† Test results turnaround time may vary by location depending on the test type. Test results for travel purposes cannot be guaranteed in time for travel. Patients will be notified of their result via email, mail or phone call.
Antigen should take no longer than 30 minutes. You may need to request an e-mail or print out for travel purposes.
CVS' website is unavailable to me as I'm outside the US.💙💛 💔0 -

make sure your local wallgreen, cvs etc provide lateral flow as not all branches do.0
