Before you get the *ink plan* check just how much you will be printing. One of my granddaughters got a printer with an ink plan and it was a nightmare - unless your printing matches up it can be very expensive

Got fed up of my HP printer failing to print unless you put a new cartridge in every time. It does have a use
colour for black but that fails until you power the printer off and then it prints the next time you power it on.
I would not buy another HP printer, if I had used cheap aftermarket inks I could have blamed those but
its only ever had genuine inks.
I bought an epson inktank printer so no messing with carts anymore.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I have a Canon 3600 series that has done 10,000 pages. My printing needs vary but even when it gives the message *Low on Ink* it still goes on for quite a while. A little bit like my car fuel warning I don't need to hot foot it to the petrol station. Thing to remeber is that they are in the business of selling you ink. You can buy genuine ink online for less

I got one of those, Epson ET-4750, its fantastic, doesn't seem to clog nozzles, goes very fast and holds a ludicrous amount of ink which isn't expensive to replace even for original inks. Another good thing is the replaceable waste tank. Most inkjets store waste from head cleans internally so have a limited life before you have to scrap the printer. The ecotank one can be replaced easily, I already got one ready for just £10.forgotmyname said:Got fed up of my HP printer failing to print unless you put a new cartridge in every time. If you should decide to buy a Canon printer, then buy direct from Canon UK as their prices are cheaper than Amazon and other retailers. The printer would be despatched from Canon in the Netherlands and would arrive in 3 - 5 working days. Free delivery.0
