Hi everyone
I have a flight booked on edreams website - London- Abu Dhabi -delhi - chennai - but now finding out that uk transit passengers cannot go to India - airline has been useless - spent whole of today trying to speak to someone in India - got hold of someone in chat they said someone will call me in 30 mins - nobody called :-(
I reached out to edreams they want extra £400 on top of the £1k I paid to change second segment of my flight to another airline- Etihad. They said they cant comment on whether uk transit passengers are allowed.
insurance say they can't cover - what shall I do now? There are flights from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to Chennai which I could buy for extra £200 but I dont want to be denied boarding with UK passport again and stranded-really confused and stressed - help!

Unfortunately instead of choosing to book direct with the airline you have involved a third party with a pretty poor reputation. If you can find a route that works all you can really do is pay whatever fees to change (will be airline fees plus edreams fees) or choose not to travel and lose the money0 -
What's changed since your earlier thread on the same topic?
