    She just about got affected.
As of when she arrives, the new rules would have started.
She will either have to quarantine in the hotel or wait in Nigeria until the rules change which no one really knows when.

Or spend time in a country closer to home that will accept for unrestricted entry, as already detailed. This is likely to be the most convenient option as well as the cheapest.

Unfortunately there is another hurdle -you also need to check that there is quarantine hotel accommodation available on Monday, not trying to scaremonger but news reports from passengers stranded in South Africa is that they were struggling to book quarantine hotels for their arrival dates and without a quarantine hotel booked they  couldn’t  board their flights home.
You can check the availability here : https://quarantinehotel.ctmportal.co.uk/

This is worth noting OP- I've seen several mentions now from people who cannot get into a quarantine hotel for over a week so cannot even begin to try getting home this does seem to be mainly London based airports so far.

Does Germany consider Nigeria a non red country? If so, the easiest thing to do would be to delay the Germany - UK sector by 10 days. Find a cheap hotel or Airbnb in Frankfurt and wait it out.

I would also suggest doing this sooner rather than later as I imagine that some European countries might be considering bringing in more measures and delaying too long might just close off this route home.

It may also be worth exploring the German requirements from Nigeria to explore whether it's cheaper to spend 10 days there and return on a separate ticket in the knowledge that there is a risk Germany may end up on the red list.
Have to say it'd go beyond simply if its cheaper or not for me... not being allowed out a room for 10 days, little/no choice on food etc etc would be worth paying some more to avoid in my book.

True but I also suspect that once you are coming from a red list country will have to spend 10 days closer to home that will accept.
