In terms of the timescale I'm not sure about the job in a Yaris but my mechanic did the clutch in my Golf in 2 hours which is a similarly priced job at a dealer. He does them regularly and knows all the ways to get it done fast. Doesn't always work if a bolt is seized but for a smooth job it can be done in that time.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1

To do a good job of taking other parts out and putting them back takes time and patience. Doing it yourself is the only way. After a garage has done a big job it is never quite the same again.0
