Lapland flights?

Hi, I'm starting to do some research on a Christmas 2022 visit to Lapland for our family. I would ideally like to do this DIY. Probably looking to fly into Rovaniemi and then hire a car and drive further north. I'm struggling to find flights for this far in the future which is expected, does anyone know which airlines fly to lapland?

I have tried to search for this year for an idea but feel im not getting a true representation, probably due to Covid.

Happy to fly from any northern/midland airport but would prefer Manchester

Finnair is probably the only scheduled airline operating flights, the rest are direct charters operated by tour companies who will only sell packages and not flight only's. They have at times run flights direct from Heathrow but most require you to change at Helsinki, and they do fly to Helsinki from Manchester. I would suggest you check the availability and cost of car hire before going much further!

Easyjet fly to Kittila (for Levi) and Rovaniemi from Gatwick 
TUI Have a much wider range of flights - I know they do Kittila = not sure if anywhere else
And as Alan says there are scheduled alternatuives 

Rovaniemi is very much a town - look at some pics before booking - though i note you intend to drive on 
I went to Levi and I found it a really nice place 
Ski slopes if you fancy skiing
Enough going on but still have a ski villagy feel 
Not far from Airport for driving

Ive booked a DIY trip to Lapland Nov 27th, I wondering how much cheaper and how easy it is to booked the activites on arrival or piror with local peole and what sort of prices you would pay for family of 4,

Any advice very much welcome
