I would suggest millionaires shortbread.  You did say you had found some chocolate

    Fudge.

    Honeycomb
You could do a little sweet selection.
Offer a variety and people will eat more, so if you make 3 different desserts cut them into 1/3 of the usual serving size.

Flapjacks made with condensed milk so yummy, can be dipped/drizzled with chocolate, and any fruit/nuts/seeded added that you have or you might use up if you bought a small quantity.  The recipe I used was from somewhere on the web, a quick look has just yielded a great recipe

5 minute superfood flapjack recipe from.    "Nice Like Nigella"

Choc Brownie mixture baked in cupcake sizes, not the huge muffin one, iced/glazed/ melted choc whatever with bits and bobs added on top. mini marshmallows mini jelly sweets - the wee packets from the kiddie sweetie section in the SM.

As others have suggested - small portions of sweet yummy things with several choices.

OH and I enjoy such goodies occasionally, but not in great quantity so I regularly make half or one third of recipes which seem to cater for families with good appetites, or amounts to add to several days worth of lunchboxes.

If you have the chance I would love to know what you made.

I like the idea of little bits and bobs. I really like the idea of millionaires shortbread. My friends and I all love a sweet treat but tend not to eat loads of them. Ooh, lots of decisions to make!

Just to make it harder to choose this is my tried and tested treat pudding Chocolate Bread and Butter Pudding | Recipes | Delia Online because it has to be made 48 hrs before you want to eat it, it's very rich so no-one needs a big helping and everyone likes it. I once made it for a children's party and simply omitted the rum and it was still enjoyed by all, I think you could substitute any liqueur or spirit you have that you like the taste of if you don't feel like buying the rum.
My other suggestion is this Honey Semifreddo | Nigella's Recipes | Nigella Lawson which is ridiculously easy and substitute something prettier and cheaper for the pine nuts.

Good that you have the cocoa and chocolate - gives you a few more options. If you do end up wiith porridge oats flapjacks are easy and quick and have the option of doing a few chocolate ones. I was going to suggest shortbread but see that someone has already suggested millionaires shortbread now you have the choclate. If you are after something a bit Christmassy you could do a little christmas biscuit type selection - you would be able to make some different ones with the things you have. If you have some Christmas type shaped cutters you could utilise them. Various shortbread type options you could do - plain, fruit, iced, millionairres, chocolate, lemon, orange if you have one f either, sandwiched with jam a bit like jammy dodgers. If you have any spices like ginger, mixed spice or cinnamon that would give you a few more options for making different Christmas ginger or spiced biscuit type options / or other things to flavour your shortbread with.

Might need an extra bit or two for some of these but easy to do without fancy kit.  fyi - c = cup, or 250 ml

    Hello Dollies

2 c graham crumbs or pulverised digestives

    ¼ c w sugar

    ½ c melted butter.

Mix and press into a square cake pan.

    Sprinkle on top:

    1 c shredded coconut

    1 c chocolate chips

1 c chopped nuts (walnut or pecan are best)

Drizzle 1 can of sweetened condensed milk over the top

    Bake for 25 – 30 minutes at 325f.

    Butterscotch chews

    ½ c butter

    2 c brownsugar

    2 eggs

    1 tsp baking powder

    1 ½ c plain flour

    1 tsp vanilla (optional)

Melt butter in a saucepan and add sugar heating together until nearly boiling – careful not to burn!

    Cool to lukewarm

Beat eggs and add to sugar mix then add the rest.

    350f 20 minutes

    Or simply chocolate mousse....

Melt 100 g chocolate and add to 100 - 150 ml cream for whipping.  If using very dark chocolate you'll need more cream - at least 200 ml

    Cool completely then whip.

Ladle into fancy wine glasses & top with a little plain whipped cream.  keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

If you have more than 1 type of chocolate you can layer it.  You can also put it in a rectangular tin lined with parchment and when serving turn out of the tin and slice.

The Butterscotch chews - are they a biscuit or a traybake to be portioned after cooking?
