If you are going with your paragraph 3 (and no reason why not) just check that you are not duplicating what is stated in paragraph 1.1

Since submitting the defence I have now received a notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track and must complete the small claims directions questionnaire. Please may I request some guidance on how to proceed? Should I opt for the Small Claims Mediation Service or select no to this offer?0

You've already had that guidance.rocky24 said:Since submitting the defence I have now received a notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track and must complete the small claims directions questionnaire. Please may I request some guidance on how to proceed?
Go back to that list you were following when you filed your Defence.
Items 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 on that list are what you need to read now.
Here they are again...
There is rarely a new question on here.
And of course it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway... everything must be done in the name of the named Defendant.

Thanks for your patience Keith, it is really appreciated and apologies you keep having to state the obvious.
I will complete the questionnaire and so forth but does it now mean that this case will likely be going to court and so the named defendant likely to have to appear before a judge?0 -
Nope, most likely a discontinuance after the D submits a humdinger of a WS and evidence. If not, then a phone hearing might happen.

This case was concluded in my favour. BW legal pulled out of the claims process so it didn’t end up going to court. Thank you so much everyone that provided support and feedback on this.3
