Broken aquarium

I have a 240l aquarium, it got damaged during a house move. So I paid for an aquarium supplier shop to do a full repair on the aquarium. The repair cost £180, and this was cheaper than buying a new aquarium @£500.
After getting the fixed aquarium back, I was told that it was ready to go and could start using it straight away.
So I filled it up and left it for a few days to settle and get up to temperature with it being a tropical tank.
I then, after a few days, reintroduced the fish back into the tank.
After 1 week the seal where the repair had been done burst wide open. 240l of water flooded my property damaging my laminate flooring, and I lost over 60 of the fish that were in the tank as they died due to being out of water for too long as I was trying to mop up the enormous spillage.
What rights do I have in regards to a refund of the poor workmanship, and the damage and loss of fish?????

the first thing i would do is quantify my losses ie add up everything you have lost inc the £180 and then send them an itemised email and ask them to pay you.

    sorry about your fish.

Did you take pictures of the broken tank to show that the seal had failed. ?You might need to demonstrate to the repair shop that it was the repaired seal that failed and not a different type of breakage in order to claim compensation from them
