The NTK stated that as keeper I would be liable if the charge remained unpaid or the driver was not known etc so I assume that is the same as them quoting POFA?Yep.
When you get a court claim start your own new discussion thread but in the meantime it sounds like you have done some good prep and reading.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm a bit concerned that the LBC said I had a month( if memory serves) which is today/tomorrow.
If Im late responding does that make a difference to my response?
Thank you @Coupon-mad for your reply.
Can I just check I understand correctly:
I should send a letter now in response even though I am late in doing so? Letter to include all the points discussed with TiredJockey above including my NTK not adhering to timeframe. And then open a new discussion thread when I receive the court papers/letter?
Sorry if I'm being slow

Met infest my local McDs too, and there are a couple of points that might help on this thread. The signs are small and very high up on the lighting standards, so difficult to spot, let alone read.
There is also no sign upon entry, (or wasn't when I looked), so absolutely nothing to tell a driver about any contractual Ts & CsThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2 -

I just wanted to reply that I cannot remember now if I did send a letter, I was in one of my funky low phases and cannot be sure.. However as an update and query:
I continued to receive CST Law court threats but they stopped months ago, maybe even last year....until last week. Out of the blue a further CST Law letter in the same vein.. I am ignoring as I haven't been given a court date but wondered if this is std procedure to receive odd/occasional yearly threats? Presumably, I can expect these for up to 6 years?
Many thanks0 -
You can expect a court claim in the end. Please tell us what the heading in the letter says.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You can continue to ignore that letter. You will see that it does not claim to be a "Letter of Claim" or "Letter Before Claim" or "Letter Before County Court Claim" and that it does not give you a minimum of 30 days to pay and that it does not include the obligatory "annexe forms" (that you never fill in) that must be provided with a LoC/LBC/LBCCC.
If you want to know what a LoC must contain, have a look at the Pre-Action Protocols that must be observed by a claimant. When you get a real LoC, you must read the second post of the Newbies/FAQ thread to understand what you must to and by when.
