Don’t think it’s news to anyone @EssexHebridean but it’s amazing what revelations come when you actually pay attention 🤣
I didn’t make myself very clear on the kennel thing - dog is coming with us but there is a kennel they stay in on the ferry. It’s obviously big enough to fit her in but it’s still a kennel. She won’t even stay in the boot of the car so I can foresee some difficulty getting her in!Credit Card 1 - £6249.99 £4,900

Ahh gotcha on the dog, it’s a more physical problem than an emotional one! 😂 The Scottish ferries are good on that one, they have a dog friendly area where people can sit with them, or you can choose to leave the dog in the car (although very few folk seem to these days) or anywhere outside. 8 hours is a long time though, so I can see why they go with the kennel idea.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I didn’t have a lot of debt compared to some when I started my debt free diary, around 5k, but made sure we still went on holidays, enjoyed meals out, etc. I just regularly chipped away at it until it was gone. I joined a couple of challenges on the boards too, 1 debt versus 100 days was a good one, not sure if it’s still around.
Interesting that you dye your own eyebrows as I’ve been thinking about doing mine myself rather than spend £15 at the salon. I also colour my own hair, not just because of the cost but because I can’t bear the thought of sitting in the hairdressers chair for ages.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
I think that’s wise @Sun_Addict - I was all fired up to absolutely hammer the debt but there’s a life to live as well and I can still make good inroads to it even with saving for other things at the same time.Dying your eyebrows is so easy - you’ll never spend £15 getting it done again!Credit Card 1 - £6249.99 £4,900

£12.99 refund has come in from Amazon so thats going straight into the EF today. Otherwise it will be a quiet one. Went to church this morning and this afternoon will be going to the cinema (child free!) to - finally - watch the new James Bond after Covid put paid to the previous trip. Will be a free one as have a code to use again from Vitality and this cinema isn’t recliner so will definitely be free this time!
