I used Randox PCR 24 hour had no issues although prior to change to one day. I would only use PCR, I don't trust these cheaper lateral flow tests will be accepted?
As far as I'm aware only professional tests are considered acceptable, which for this purpose includes LFD tests.

Even a home PCR won't be acceptable due to the risk of fraud.

Don't need PCR test. Can use lateral flow test but day before departure. Then upload to Verifly. We are using Qured with video consultation the day before. I think its less than £30 with the BA discount code.

If you'd examined the BA list a bit closer Chronomics provide the test for less than £20 !!

For the Lateral Flow test, Simply Test Me has them for £15. You can take two with you and they'll be fine to return home with. You can also use them as fit to fly ones as well to the US, since they will be fine for Verifly and thus BA.

There is no point in using PCR tests if you don't have to, after all this is a Money Saving site.

The only time you need a PCR is for your Day 2 and we used Eurofins Drivethrough which are about £36-39 (depending if you have a code). We got the results the same day.

That makes £72 for the Day 2 and £60 for the others - £132 in total, which for two people isn't excessive.

Not that it makes any difference but no-one is interested in these tests, so you may as well do it the cheapest way possible.

Just booked a Chronomics Package for my trip to Turkey next week.

£60 for the 2 Tests - LF before return and PCR once back.

They send the LF before you go and the PCR one to coincide with your return.

There are cheaper alternatives but I have used them successfully for my recent trips to Germany, Greece and Albania.
