return of defective item

I have 'contacted seller' (who does "accept return"), but nil response. The last couple of items I have bought are not showing (????) on my purchase list, therefore I cannot

How to ask us to step in

If you and the seller aren't able to come to a resolution, you can ask us to step in. Here's how:

  1. Find the item in your Purchase History.
  2. Select See request details (if your item didn't arrive) or See return details (if you're trying to return an item).
  3. Select Ask eBay to step in.
as I cannot click on the item on purchase history (why isn't it there??). Other than leave bad feedback (which doesnt get me my money back, less postage), what can I do? How do I contact ebay to complain? TIA
