Gas supplier for property help!

Hello,
I moved into a new property mid-Nov in London. I had a great experience with Zog in the previous property, so I registered with them for the new property.
A couple of days ago I received an email from Zog to say that they couldn't supply me with gas. I thought that was weird, only to find out today that they have gone bust.
So I am stuck, as I don't know which gas supplier to turn to.
Can someone advise if I have any options?
Thanks!

You will automatically go onto a deemed contract with the current provider at the property.
Current advice is to stay on their variable rate tarrif as that will be capped whereas any fixed rate tariff you are able to move onto will be higher.1 -

Thanks!Oddly, this may have saved you from a different problem. When you moved in you should have registered with the current supplier for both gas and electricity and only then once you were registered should you have tried to switch elsewhere if you wanted to.Best advice though as mentioned above is to simply stay with the current supplier on their standard variable rate, do not let them persuade you to pick a different tariff.

https://www.findmysupplier.energy/ will tell you who is the supplier at your property. Just register with them ensuring they keep you on the deemed tariff and not steer you into taking a fixed deal.

Be warned, they may well try to tell you that you "have" to fix - if so, just remind them that ofgem say otherwise, and be very clear about wanting the standard variable.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thank you all for the super helpful answers. I found out British Gas supply to current address. I am opening an account with them online and they give me only two options, both fixed:The Green One v11£80.23 / monthTariff is fixed until December 2022Carbon neutral gas100% renewable electricityZero Exit FeesThe Fixed One v11£78.73 / monthZero Exit Fees
Tariff is fixed until December 2022
100% renewable electricity
There is no option for a standard variable. What should I do?
Thanks.

You will have to phone them to complete the registration, the lack of the option to do this online is contrary to Ofgem requirements, but I wouldn't expect it to be fixed any time soon.Phone and stick to not picking a tariff just insist on remaining on the capped standard variable rate.1

I spent one hour waiting on the phone.
In the end I gave up. I will try again tomorrow morning.
Thank you all for your help.

If worst comes to worst, find an address and write to them, hard copy, notifying that you have moved into the property, the date, and the meter readings. At least that way they can't claim you've not registered with them.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi,thought if you do nothing when moving into a new property you were on the deemed contract, which is the capped until April 22.0

but you are at the mercy of meter readings.
I would say a hard copy letter with photos of meter readings.
