They are two entirely different things. Curve is for consumers. Tide is for Businesses. Neither of them is a bank.
If you detail what you mean by "any good", and what kind of services you are looking for, users of either offering might be able to comment further,1 -
As far as I know, the Curve card is actually authorised by the Bank of Lithuania. This does not make it a bank card though. It's certainly not something to put your life savings onto.
Tide is not a bank, but they will put money into a bank account for you. There's a bloke in the local pub who provides a similar service.0 -
The only cash you could possibly hold in Curve is cashback you earned by paying with your Curve card, or any goodwill payment / referral money Curve gives you. There is no facility for you or anyone other than Curve to deposit money into Curve, so the question whether you'd put some or all of your life savings into them doesn't arise.maxsteam said:As far as I know, the Curve card is actually authorised by the Bank of Lithuania. Other than that, Curve is authorised and regulated in the UK by the Financial Conduct Authority

I have banked with TIDE business bank at my cost!!! They have only offered very simple banking facilities, no cash can be banked and their payment system slow and dubious. Glitch’s in their software and unnecessary due diligence which is a waste of your time! Stay away-open a proper business account with a major bank, you’ve been warned!!! Ps, don’t comply with their hoops and jumps and they’ll freeze your account!!!0

Tide Bank Review
I have Tide account blocked for 9 days already as they are investigating 7 small transactions to Toolstation or the same type of supplier. I cannot pay wages, cannot pay to the suppliers. Speaking to them everyday and no one can give me any information. It is a scam bank. Avoid Tide bank at any cost.

You only need to post the information once. Posting the same thing on multiple threads is unnecessary.YuryZ said:Tide Bank Review
