hi, account opened and switch is underway, it completes on the 8th dec, question 1. do I have to wait for the switch to complete first before paying in the £1000 or can I just go ahead and do the £1000 now (I have access to the internet banking) and 2. does the £1000 have to be a lump sum or can I do 4x£250? im guessing I can as I cant see anything that specifically says it has to be 1k in go, cheers

I transferred £1K in as soon as I had access to the account, and certainly before the switch took place. Once the switch happened I think I got the £130 through within a day or two, no problems whatsoever.
On your second question as far as I could discern there's no stipulation that the minimum £1K has to be in a single transaction.1 -
cheers for the info1
