Issue with Fitbit Charge 4 strap connection

Options
I have had my Fitbit Charge 4 since 2 February this year.  Today it fell off my wrist.  The connector between the strap and the main unit is broken and it looks faulty.

After a bit of looking I know I bought it at Currys online as it's on my credit card receipt.  I also registered it on the App.

However I don't have email confirmation or receipt to take to Currys.

In addition, I've looked it up and there appears to be a design fault with this particular Fitbit as a number of people have reported the same issue as I've had.  Some have said they've only been offered 30% of their original cost.

So, what is the best approach for me to get either a replacement or a full refund given that it's a defect in the manufacturing of the Fitbit Charge 4?

You're entitled to a replacement, repair or refund if the retailer is satisfied that it's a fault with the watch.  Currys can choose which remedy to offer, but if it's a refund, they can reduce the refund to reflect the 10 months' use you've had of the product - you're not entitled to a full refund.  30% may seem a little low, but it depends how long those people have owned them.  If the watch has a life expectancy of two years and the fault means it breaks after one year, you might expect a 50% refund, but it's not always a linear reduction, because often with electronics, the real cost of a replacement product falls over time, or an improved model is available at the same price point.
