Re-enter Morrisons Carpark within 2 hours (Parking Eye)

I went to Morrisons this morning about 6:10am and left by aournd 6:45am.  Then release I left a giftcard bought at the sefl check out.  I then went back at around 7:20am (luckily) able to find it and left within 10 mins.

They have the usual terms that that you can park for a maximum of 2 hours and no return within 2 hours.

Just wonder does anyone had any experience, will a PCN be issued as I re-enter the site within 2 hours, even though the first entry and the exit from the second visit is less than the 2 hours limit?

Thanks  :)

How will PE know that the same driver was in the vehicle both times? After all only a driver can be bound by contract terms - a vehicle is incapable of forming a contract. ;)

Contact the shop and say to them that "the vehicle was present on date/time for an occupant to do some shopping. On getting home it was realised that a gift card had been left at the self checkout, so the vehicle returned at date/time so that the gift card could be collected. Please inform ParkingEye that vehicle (your VRM) was not in breach of any contractual term of parking, thus they must not issue a PCN to the vehicle's registered keeper".

Note how I've phrased this - nothing there says Me, Myself or I. :)

I agree with @Redx above, try to get it nipped. Customer Services should be able to do this for you.

My slight hesitancy is that PE and Morrisons are not normal bedfellows (Euro Car Parks are M's preferred supplier) and I'm wondering if your M's is based on a retail park with multiple outlets using the car park?  If that is the case, you might be needing to contact a managing agent.

Whatever, start with Morrisons and take it from there.

It is a Morrisons carpark, not part of any retail park.  Thanks  :)

But without revealing the driver's identity.

That clause is very likely an ufair term in a consumer contract contrary to the CRE. Red this

Hi, I realise this is a few years old, but could you tell me what a VRM is please? I have a very similar situation, our car went to lidl to shop, then left to collect daughter from school and returned within 20 minutes to go to hobbycraft and now we have a PCN  :s
