    I'd say it just ain't worth worrying about :smiley:
    Unless you run out of wood - that's a worry.
    You aren't going to be monitoring the actual surface temp of the stove to try and regulate it within the 'best' range, are you? Phew. If you are cold, turn it up. If v-v, then v-v.

    (And 600oC is, I presume, the actual heat from the surface of the burning timber - that bright orange part. You ain't going to stick anything in there, are you?)
