I currently have a bluetooth aux device connected to the aux port in my car to listen to musix from my phone. Im wanting to also setup a pure highway DAB radio but this also connects via aux is there any splitter or anything i can buy and how would i control this?

You don't need a splitter, you need a switcher; one lead comes out of it to go into the Aux port, and two leads go in from the devices, Switcher allows you to switch between the two.
Assume everything is 3.5mm jack plugs, search for "3.5mm jack switcher switch box" or variations0 -
Does the DAB radio not have an equivalent of an Aux input? (So you can select that feed from the DAB device - you could plug your Bluetooth device into there). The page below suggests it does:
https://www.pure.com/en-GB/stores/pure/pure/highway/p/150406Music via Aux-in
Simply connect your phone, tablet or music player via the supplied 3.5mm line-in connector, then sit back and relax as you listen to music, audiobooks or podcasts safely as you drive.

do these do automatic switching? As when I’m driving mainly on motorway I don’t want to be fumbling about which button to press0 -
I’m looking at this from Amazon
Pure Highway 400 In-Car DAB+/DAB Digital Radio FM Adapter with Bluetooth for Music Playback – DAB Car Radio Adapter/Transmitter and Bluetooth FM Transmitter, Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01IOE8P6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_VVEJVGBV5JH3ANNRZSN5
if I was to use this for both things Bluetooth music from my phone and the dab radio does this auto switching without touching the device if not and I was to hardwire this into my car would all the control work from my car such as volume/track +-

That was what I linked to earlier ... plug your BT adaptor into the Aux lead on the Pure device. (Or plug your phone in directly).
As to how it works - read the instruction manual. (Should be able to find it online).Jenni x1 -
OR..... leave your existing aux port connected as-is, and use the FM transmission to connect the highway to the car audio. That's what I do as no aux port on the stereo......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
