I have been AWOL for so long from here but I have been working hard to pay down my debts. Down to the last two and £3226.58 left. I am going to try really hard to get this all paid off this year and finally be debt free.
This years been a bit weird for me as my daughter went off to university and I'm getting used to being on my own. So much has changed for me I've finally got an allotment and been sorting it out and have onions and garlic in there that are doing really well. I have a rough plot plan and should have plenty of fruit and vegetables coming from there this year.
I have done my full years plan on excel and as it stands it will be a stretch but the debt could be gone by December 2022. I've planned my meals for January, I have never been very good at meal planning and sticking to it but this time I am determined and need to do this so I can move on from a debt hanging around my neck.
If you have good this far thank you for reading my waffle lol.

NSD today, I've made a vegetable and lentil lasagna using up some food I already had in the cupboard and freezer. I've made enough to make 8 portions. I already have a good few meals made in the freezer from previous batch cooking.I am going to try and make it for the next couple of weeks without food shopping.
I have been applying for better paid jobs to get more paid off faster failing that there is a company that does weekends only and I can choose what I want to work so that's another option. I've been looking into selling wax melts also I've been making them for a few years, I'm hoping to be able t do that as a side job and maybe sell through Etsy. I've looked into the insurance etc and what I need to do to start selling them to the public. Also been watching loads of YouTube videos of what I need to do there are company's that do the warning labels etc just need to work out how much it will all cost and whether it's a viable option. I know my wax melts are a very good standard as I make them for myself so I think that's half the battle.
Well better get ready for workBecame debt free December 2022

Another NSD today as I won't be going out today, snowed again here and it's too cold. I have managed to get a new job, wasn't expecting to get one this fast, I start the week after next, more money and closer to home so I'll save half on petrol.
Going to bake today as I have a lot of baking ingredients in and I want to make a start using them up. Planning on hot milk cake and chocolate marble cake I'll freeze the portions and they'll be ready for work.
DD is back this weekend from uni can't wait to see her I miss her so much so planning on putting the Christmas tree up and making the house look all festive.
No a lot else to report at the momentBecame debt free December 2022

Wow your baking sounds lovely and I’m so impressed at your freezer full of yummy food. Think mine has got a couple of chicken breasts - date unknown - and a questionable bag of herbs 🤣
Re insurance for Etsy just a really simple Public Liability policy will be fine. Suggest you limit your ETsY sales to the UK as shipping to US requires additional liability cover and makes the policy more expensive. Simply Business is a good one or Axa have a working from home policy. Alternatively give your local insurance broker a call and they can sort it out for you. Good luck with your side hustleCredit Card 1 - £6249.99 £4,900
Credit Card 2 - £13,481.47 £12,985
Total debt - £19,731.46 £17,885
Emergency fund £9300
