Hi all,
I bought a beko washing machine and it was delivered today. However it's a pile of junk and leaks in 3 different places. I want to send it back but beko said they need to check it's faulty first before they will give me a refund and will send someone out in 1 week to have a look and it and order parts of nessecary to repair it. I don't want all this hassel, I want did of the thing and a refund. What are my rights here and how do I get them to take it away? I bought it from ao.com but they said that it's up to Beko as they are the manufacture.

Nope, your consumer rights are with AO.com.0

They are entitled to have it inspected, however you don't have to accept any repair. Just reject it.
Where's it leaking from and who installed it?0 -
They need to check you’ve not fitted it incorrectly which is fair enough - let them inspect then when it’s declared faulty have it uplifted for a refund.0

I do sympathise and understand your frustration with you having to wait, but from a retailers point off view its reasonable to get the machine inspected to confirm its faulty rather than inlet pipes not tightened correctly, waste not fitted in accordance with instructions, or a plumbing issue .
If you'd bought the machine locally from a local independent retailer at a similar or even better overall price they could have sent a local person to check these issues rather than having to wait0
