Opayo asking for full visa debit card 'memorable name'..?

No idea where to post this but can anyone help?
Am purchasing an expensive item online and have got on the Opayo (formerly 'Sage Pay) system as far as the confirm page. Now they are asking for my FULL memorable name as authentication and say they will send a verification code to me by text which I will need to enter as part of the process. I'm uneasy about this. Is it normal? Have only ever been asked before for three letters of the name.

I don't know anything about that system, but it would certainly ring alarm bells with me. I think you're right to be cautious0
