Will my credit card cover me for hotel cost even if they state non refundable due to coronavirus

No. It gives you the same rights as with the retailer.
Your insurance would be the place to go.1 -
It depends on the situation. If you have changed your mind / can’t get there due to travel restrictions then it’s your issue and no refund is due.Frankly, anyone booking non-refundable rooms during a pandemic is asking for trouble!If they have physically cancelled the booking, then a refund is due.

My granddaughter & I had to cancel coach trip with National holidays because of relative's positive covid test & had been told to self isolate by the NHS.
National says we should have gone on the trip & can't claim as neither of us had covid!
Anyone else had this problem?0 -
If you have decent insurance and have evidence of the demand to self isolate, that may be the best bet0
