Central heating is off, Greenstar I

When I turn up the temperature on the thermostat, the heating comes on, at least it used to.
It started being intermittent, I could hear the click when it comes, but then when it didn't come on the click was a lot quieter.
It doesn't come on at all now. I changed the thermostat on the wall. Just the same.
I am guessing there is some type of switch within the boiler?
It's a Danfoss RET1000 that I changed, the boiler is a Greenstar I
I am guessing I might need a boiler engineer now. I will check the thermostat.

Is there an error code eg F27 on the display panel of the boiler ?

It seems to have come on now, maybe changing the thermostat worked.

Did you replace it with another Danfoss RET1000?
If so, doesn't it have illuminating indicators on it to show when it's 'calling for heat' and stuff? If the boiler plays up again, see what these lights are doing.

I bought a different thermostat, then I realised that it would be easier to buy the same Danfoss thermostat.
Seems to be working ok, the louder clicking must have been a fault on the old one.
