Clothes cut for Cloth Nappies at a realistic price

My 16mos old boy has been wearing real nappies since about 3mos. However, I'm now struggling to find clothes to fit as they ae all cut for disposables. I've googled and found loads of sites offering to sell me clothes cut for cloth for the prices are astronomical, even in the clearance section! Anyone point me in the direction of a more reasonably priced site or is my little one destined to spend his days till potty training in joggers?

Hi there,

I think you will find that most of the clothes specifically for cloth users will be quite pricey. I always found that the 'High St' makes fitted a lot better than the 'Designer' stores. So, Mothercare, Adams, George etc. were OK, but Gap, Next etc. were always cut too slim. I never had a problem with buying a size up and turning up the legs (good idea to get trousers with button hole elastic so that they can be adjusted around the waist.) I also found that all the trousers that my daughter had grown out of, magically fitted again once she was potty trained and they didn't have to fit over nappies!
