Personalised pyjamas causing a headache

Good morning all,
First post so apologies for formatting.
I placed an order with an online retailer (Studio) for personalised Christmas pyjamas for myself, partner and dog on 29/10/21 as they advertised delivery within 10 days.
10 days came and went so checking their website they were advising on the order confirmation page up to 28 days. Which was fine as well needed the order for 4/12/21, although their website was still advertising 10 days and saying in stock.
I recieved an email from the company on 22/11/21 who advised delivery would be 22/11/21, the same day. Nothing arrived so I followed up 48 hours later with an email asking when I could expect delivery.
I was then told that the men's pyjamas would arrive within 5 days after 5/12/21 but the rest of the order didn't have a date but "there was no reason they could see why it wouldn't arrive."
Obviously none of these dates now suit and are way beyond the date they initially advised. I've gone back and forth with their customer service with zero success, they offered me a refund on delivery... I didn't pay a delivery fee. They're now advising their customer care team will contact me within 56 days, again in my opinion far too late.
They've now sent me the same hapless email template so I've emailed back to ask them to cancel my order as they have failed to fulfill the order in the agreed timescale and the product is no longer needed.
Can I stick to my guns and cancel the order? I appreciate that personalised products normally can't be cancelled but given the circumstances outlined can we cancel?
(We as an extended family are getting together to celebrate an early Christmas on the 5th December as we've been unable to do so due to covid and the idea was that we would all just wear pyjamas, put up the tree etc etc etc. After that date the product is largely useless. A wholesome idea now turned into a headache and we're just going to have to go to Primark or something.)

Yes, you can cancel the order because they're nowhere near fulfilling their contracted promise to deliver within 10 days of ordering.0

Cancel the contract in writing stating that they failed to meet both their initial and revised delivery dates. Tell them you look forward to receiving your full refund within 14 days.
If they fail to refund, then assuming you paid by card, contact your card provider for a refund.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
At least the dog will be happy, I've never understood why some people feel that their pets are smaller versions of themselves4

Putting pyjamas on a dog serves no purprose than to entertain the owners and at best the dog will tolerate it but it could actually be uncomfortable for the dog.My comment was to point out that dogs and children are different and i put the smiley at the end to show it was meant in a fun way.But the serious aspect of my comment is that dogs should not be treated like human children no matter what the owners circumstances are.screech_78 said:RogerBareford said:FooBlues38 said:
