Searched for Argos but nowt came-up

But, as stated in your OP it also says:-

and

Filling in the form currently on the site is not an entry to the competition but just a sign up for a reminder on 1st December and for marketing information. So it looks like you can't enter until after 30/11.

It implies you have to sign up for marketing and will receive daily entry alerts (and enter from those reminders each day)  HENCE closing date 30/11
