Are Sharp Smart Android TVs any good?

Sharp aren't the force they once were in the TV market, in fact they stopped manufacture all together until fairly recently when they bought back their rights from Hisense.

I assume you're looking at the one being sold by Lidl for £259, in which case you can't really expect too much for that sort of budget.

What i would do is buy a Hisense from Richersounds and get the free 6 year warranty there tvs are very good.

I'm not sure Sharp TVs have ever been made by Vestel. UMC (Slovakia) had the licence rights for Sharp TVs but since Sharp brought back their licences in house they may well still be manufactured by UMC but under direct Sharp control now. In fact UMC is part of the Sharp corporation now, so it would be entirely correct to say that the latest Sharp TVs are manufactured by Sharp themselves.

Just FYI - that review doesn't include the OP's stated model.

The Sharp TV's made for the UK are manufactured in Poland. The Sharp TV's manufactured and sold by Sharp in the Far East are far superior to those sold in Europe.
Sharp TV's are at best a mid range TV and not a brand I would personally entertain.
