Can't access new Plusnet account

I got a new SIM about 10 days ago from Plusnet. £6/pm with 5GB data.
Got a warning from Plusnet today that I have used 80% of my data. My phone tells me that in the last 30 days I have used 3GB data which would be my usual usage.
My main problem is that I can't access my account. Their online forum, helpline, app, chat all require email address or phone number and password or account number to access them.
I have looked at the contract and there is a blank space where the acc number should be.
When I put in my phone number and email address, I just get a message that the details are not recognised.
Can anyone help please?

your user name will be a bit of you surname and your date of birth back to front that's what mine is what they gave me when i took out the contract.
other then that you will need to ring them.Give us a call
Call 500 from your Plusnet Mobile or 0800 079 1133 (press option 1, then option 2) from any phone.

Thank you so much. Will try and find the username. It is giving me the option of email address which I was using as I didn't know my user name.0

Grrrrr. Just realised why I have used up most of my data. Had a couple of pretty sleepless nights so I've just been watching stuff to while away the time. Didn't realise I hadn't connected to the wifi. Aw well, at least I know now before I ran up a bill.

Eventually spoke to a CS guy who gave us our account numbers and usernames. Able then to set up the online account.
Still mystified as to why they don't put those details on the contract or in an email.

Still can't get into my account. Did set up the online account but can't actually log in as my details are not recognised.0

I couldn't log in to my account either. Turned out my user name was a new plusnet email address plusnet gave me
..........not my usual email.

Finally got someone so helpful in their call centre who sorted it out for me. I got in at long last.
As for Ballyblack, it's a small world so it is. I was on the Cunningburn Road just last weekend. Where my mum grew up. Went back home for the weekend.1
