Manchester Airport Car Parking

hi everyone
I'm planning to drop off 1 adult tomorrow at Manchester Airport Terminal 2, but I will need to assist this passsenger to the terminal and check in department, which means a minimum of an hour or two is needed, but when I look online for prices, I am getting results well over £50!!
Can you please point me in the right direction to park for an hour or two close to Terminal 2? Do I need to park in the multi-storey car park?
Thanks in advance.

Google has told me this: https://www.holidayextras.com/manchester-airport-short-stay-parking.html
So £9.50 for two hours at the short stay car park. I presume that's the multi-storey car park you're referring to,
Still a rip off, but not £50. I guess the £50 charge you found was for paying in advance, which is designed for people staying at least 24 hours. If you're just staying for an hour or two I think you're better off just taking a ticket and paying at the machine.0 -
The T2 multi story is under cover and not very far from the check in area if you go up to level 3 and park there. However you may not find much there if its busy. Level 1 is meant to be for short stay.0
