Recently signed up to MSE broadband recommendation of Plusnet which has a prepaid MasterCard deal as part of the package.
Haven't activated card because I have now read that it is not possible to ever cancel prepaid cards sent as part of a deal.
Is this really the case?
Replies much appreciated.

I dont understand what the issue is, nor why you mention "fees".
Use the card, spend the balance, cut it up and never use it again? 🤷♂️4 -
My understanding is there are yearly fees0

Its essentially a pre-paid Mastercard debit card. Just spend the funds before the expiry date. How can they charge you a fee on a card with nothing on it?2 -
Fee incurring credit cards will charge you a fee on a card with nothing on it... but clearly they do allow you to cancel so you can avoid the fee if the benefits you're paying for are no longer of interest/use.emmajones1976 said:

There is no suggestion on that FAQ if there is a fee. It has an expiry date, upon which all balance vanishes.Sandtree said:

I'm not saying that there is but it shouldnt be taken as an assumption that a card cannot incur a fee just because it has a nil balance which is what your final (rhetorical) question stated/impliedemmajones1976 said:Sandtree said:
