in Credit cards
Hello,
As per the title. I've just received an email from JaJa stating that I should register for an app to take control of my credit card. I don't have a credit card with them. However, the 'scary' thing is that the email addresses me by my first name - which is not part of my email and that I only use for offical documentation.
The email lists the final 4 digits of the card number.
I'm guessing that someone has got my details and registered a card in my name? What do I do now or how do I progress this to ensure that nothing happens to me because of it?
I did have a PO credit card, but it expired in 09/21 - and the final 4 digits are different. I do not recollect getting a replacement card. So where is this card???
Thanks.

I too had a PO card that became a Jaja card. I received many emails at the time telling me about the switch.
Anyways, I don’t know what method you used to pay your PO card bill but I used a direct debit Jaja used the ‘same’ direct debit facility to settle my bill. I don’t know if this helps you workout if somebody is spending on your card.
You said your PO card expired. Did you not expect a replacement?1 -
No - I didn't get a replacement that I can recollect.
I'll contact them tomorrow and cancel the card. I only had the PO card for travelling, but I've not used it for a few years.
Out of interest is the Jaja card any good in that respect for foreign travel?0 -
No FX fees on foreign transactions. I keep my Jaja card to buy things from American websites. I tried contactless once in my local convenience store and it didn’t work. However it did work the previous week with chip & pin.. But as I said that is not the main reason I have it.0
