item not recieved - although delivery company insisting that it has

Options
On the 12th November I purchased a spare battery for my electric wheelchair online costing £325,unfortunatly they did not accept Amex so I had to pay for it using my debit card,  as I had not recieved it I chased with the company to be told it was delivered on the 17th November and signed for my EMIN - this is exactly how it was written in the email.  I immediatly rang back and told them that it hasn't been recieved and my husband was on rest that day and he was home, no one rang the doorbell and no one put a missed delivery card through the door, and that I have a video doorbell and the last time someone rang on the doorbell was at 12.59 (which was an amazon delivery).
We are going round in circles as he is insisting it was delivered to my address and I'm telling him it wasn't.  I'm not sure what else to do its my word against the delivery company!!! I told them that the contract was for them to deliver to me and they haven't but hes insisting that it was delivered to my address (have checked with him that they have the correct address and post code).

  • When does your door bell record? Only when it's rung or all the time? Do you have footage for the entire day?

As above any tracking info? Which courier?

When the doorbell was rung can help add to the balance of probability  but isnt in itself definitive proof  in itself. We also have a video doorbell, its has a blue circle around the button that spins when someone approaches so hard to miss but many couriers etc still insist on knocking or rapping the letterbox than press the button for some reason.

Ours records more than just on press and so easier to disprove their claims of deliveries.

It sounds like that "Emin" is your husband? Who was the parcel addressed to? Just wondering how they got his name as I;d assume it was addressed to you
