Definitely just under £24,000 from a Bauer radio competition, but closely followed by a Rover Metro GTi, a Peugeot 106 XT and a holiday to Monte Carlo staying in the Fairmont. None of those in the recent past, unfortunately.....1

Many moons ago I won two tickets to a Michael Jackson concert in Cardiff - it cost me a fortune to send my daughter and her friend! A couple of years ago I won £1000 worth of perfume - that actually gave me huge pleasure deciding who to give each very expensive item to.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. I've never won anything quite as high value as the above, but before my son's 2nd birthday I remember spending the entire day painting his bedroom. When I took a break I checked my phone and found I won a lovely mud kitchen worth £200 and a Muddy Puddles voucher for £200. I've won £500 cash before but this was a much better prize in terms of excitement and timing.Best 2021 wins: 48 bottles of cider, £200 John Lewis Vouchers, £100 Currys vouchers2

Back in 2009 ish I got into comping because we wanted a new TV. Our then toddler granddaughter used our magnetic fish tank cleaner on the big and bulky TV screen. Fortunately we stopped her PDQ, but a section remained greenish in hue.
Being a tightwad frugal type I didn't want to buy a new one when the old one still worked, so I got into comping... In that first year, I won things like books, chocolate, a Bluray player, sporting event tickets and an ipod until Heart came up trumps. We had to drive to Birmingham to collect it, but they even paid our parking. There have been many wins, large and small since then, but they've really tailed off recently. Used to have 2/3 wins a week, these days it's the same per monthWorse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."2 -

I've been lucky to win some great prizes over the almost 10 years I've been comping. Very best was a radio comp years ago, where I won a little under £20k. I've also won £2k on a different radio comp, and £2k in a magazine comp.
I think my favourite ever win was when I was really new to comping and won Christmas dinner, delivered. It was so much fun unpacking all the chilled boxes of turkey, bacon, sausage, veg, champagne etc. I still remember the excitement of that one!
In terms of actual prizes, I've won a few decent amount vouchers, an iPad, a Sonos speaker system, a set of new tyres, but most of my wins over the years have been small, low value ones.2
