Hello, just a quick question. I am not a Londoner but do visit london several times a year, I have just bought myself an Oyster card. When I touch in and out do I need to remove the card from my wallet or can i just slap my wallet on the reader. Thanks

You don't need to take it out. (unless it's rediculously thick)0

OK thanks. I'll put it at the back of my wallet so that there is just the leather of the wallet separating the card from the reader......0

yes - it even works in some handbags too, but not if you put it right in the middle.I got some strange looks bashing my handbag against the machine when the card moved (it had worked earlier...honest
