British Gas Evolve changing their name back to British Gas

I have just had an email from British Gas Evolve informing that they are changing their name back to British Gas.

We're changing our name from 'British Gas Evolve', to 'British Gas'. You don't need to do a thing - your energy supply won't be affected and your tariff, payment and log in details will stay exactly the same. From 26th November, 'British Gas' instead of 'British Gas Evolve', will appear on your bank statements. Date:  25/11/2021

Why are we changing our name? We've listened to our customers feedback and know that British Gas is a name they know and trust – and we know how important that is at a time when there's so much uncertainty in the energy market. What you think really matters to us, so we're changing our name.

I guess all future new accounts will be on the "Evolve" platform, and at some point they may migrate existing BG accounts over too.

I wonder if Eon Next may eventually ditch the Next from their branding.
