Can someone please advise - I have a promotional rate of 0.00% for 29 mths for balance transfer and a promotional rate of 0.00% for 12 mths for money transfer and 0.00% for 3 mths for card purchases all on one card.
The terms say after the promotion they will charge interest at the standard rate for the outstanding balance.
My question is-say I have £2000 balance transfer and then make purchases of £500.00 - What happens after 3 months - will they charge interest just on the £500.00 or the full balance of £2500.00??
Same for money transfer - if I transfer £1000.00 - what happens after 12 mths - will interest be charged on the whole amount? If I have been making payments how do they know which portion to allocate to?

They will only charge interest on anything that is due interest i.e. the £500 purchases but you would presumably be paying that off before the 3 months? Again with the MT, after 12 months they charge interest on any remaining balance. They always allocate payments to the balance which is charged interest. You would need to ask them if they will put funds to the £500 then the £1000 then the £2000 in that order due to the dates of 0% ending. Or pay the first month of £200 and see which balance has it taken off when you get the statement0

Ok, many thanks for responding. I just want to make sure that if I make card purchases and I don't end up paying all off in 3 mths, they only charge interest on the balance of the card purchases and not the full balance outstanding on the whole card0
