Confused about which address to post to?

Ever since I moved to managed payments, I have only looked at the email from Ebay telling me to post to certain address. That is the address I have posted to. Previously I would have posted to the address supplied by Paypal.
Today for some unexplained reason I looked at the posting address on my Ebay app on the phone and discovered that it was different to the one in the email from Ebay! The house nos and street names are different. The postcode is slightly different.
Has it always been like this? I have never looked at the addresses on the app before.
So which address do I send to? Can someone explain why there would be a different address?

I only really use the address that ebay give on the sold page and either print out the address label from there or use ebay postage. I do note that it is not uncommon for names not to match, so I sell to say a J Smith but the parcel is going to fred Perry - I assume they are gifts or something. I never even look at the ebay sold emails and won’t therefor have noticed a difference in addresses . I assume the original email telling you item was sold will show the registered address , but the one on the so,d page will be the correct one to send to.kalsha said:Anyone?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thank you Soolin. I will have to be careful from now on as I have been posting to the address stated on Ebay's email notifying me that the payment has been received.
I have another item that I have to post tomorrow which is showing 2 different addresses.0
