Hi! I sold a car 2 weeks ago, described very accurately, with pictures and everything well looked after, running well no problems at all. Had a woman buyer came had a look at it not even 5 min. Took it for a spin and she said she is buying it done the transaction and she signed the sold as seen paper and said she is happy with the purchase. A week later she text me saying the car broke down and it’s the injectors and pipes leaking and had a quote from mechanic it’s around £400 only for bits without work and when I’ll give her money for this as she is a single mum with disabilities of 4. Now she threatens me that she will take legal action against me and she has evidence from mechanic that I should’ve known this would happen before selling it .. I’m very stressed right now.. I wasn’t aware of this .. I discounted the car with £200 for her and the tank was full of diesel. She wants to return the car now.. what to do please advise

Learn to say "no".
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.1 -
Thank you everyone for your time! She is just keep calling on fb and sending messages like she will come and “leave the junk on my drive way” I’m ignoring all her messages but still kind of worried0

How does she propose to 'leave the junk on [your] driveway' if the car is a non-runner further to failure of the fuel injection system? Paying for a low-loader to transport it there seems excessive in the circumstances. It may all be a load of hot air. This one is safe to ignore.Cristina94 said:Thank you everyone for your time! As has been stated , you done have nothing wrong, if people want warranty and guarantee then they should buy new or nearly new from a garage, if they want a cheap car then they buy private and take the risk / get it inspected. They took the risk not you.
If she continues to hassle you call the police for harassment.
This is most likely a scam to get money out of you, don't give in and don't worry.2
