PFP energy electric to British Gas Supplier Of last Resort & refund of credit

So I managed to switch to Sainsburys on 20/10/21 after BG had initially rejected the switch.

I got a final bill from BG for 20 days of electric from 30/09 to 20/10. I was expecting them to take it via DD & I missed their emails but got their text after I missed the payment due date.

PFP owe me ~ £80.

I phoned BG and they basically said I should call back at the end of January 2022 if I've not received a letter with a refund by then, they estimate it takes 2 to 3 months from account on boarding for refunds to be issued (yes I know it should be by 30/12/21 but they said wait till end of Jan 22).

At least that one has moved on. EDF are still pretending to on board our gas from Utility Point,  not sure when to expect the refund of credit from that.
