Memory card

Can anyone help me here please. I have been asked to buy a memory card for a visiting Australian. She tells me it is a Simplte Tech Compact Flash digital media memory card used in a Canon Powershot A70. She wants at least 128. I have googled this but haven't found one. Many thanks for your time guys

The make is unimportant i.e. you may not find a Simple Tech but any of these here will work in the A70.

I have one of these brilliant cameras. Read somewhere that 1GB was the max but see 2GB advertised on the link above for £14 - splosh the dosh, as it is worth it

Very good friend? offer to update the flash so she can record vids in highest res (seen it writen the quality between TV and dvd) for up to 3 min - rather than 20-30 seconds. The downside is that you can no longer play the long vids back on the camera. google for the canon patch and the exact instructions too.

Also on many canons there was a sensor problem that often goes faulty with age, heat and humidity, so if the canon takes extremely blurred pictures with jagged edges, lines accross it and very poor colour contrast, send it back to a recognised canon dealer and they will repair it for free (for this problem) - no matter the age/ warranty status.
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time. ;)
