Emails allegedly from Martin Lewis

Just received two emails to the address used for this forum, both allegedly from 'Martin Lewis'. I binned and deleted them straight away but both were along similar lines, offering advice about investment during these difficult times, and each coming from a non-MSE address (one looked like a fabric warehouse). One had 'It's the moment you've been waiting for' as the subject, the other said 'Invest now and you could earn huge profits.' Has anyone received anything like this?

Sorry, not quite understanding you - what do you mean by 'Deleted items is your friend'?
The MSE article link advises reporting scams to FCA, which I'll do if it happens again - will make a note of content before I delete it.0 -
I get these emails every day (3 so far this morning) and, because each one has a different email address, I presume there’s little value in reporting them as spam/phishing either to our ISP (BT) or report@phishing.gov.uk. Is there any way of stopping them?0

I received one of these today.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0

Hi @antuk123, please do continue to report as many emails as possible, it really does help. We also have lots of information in our stop scams guide.1

I received an email, purportedly from Martin, last Wednesday and another one today. As with antuk123 the emails come from different addresses. The email subject is 'Investment advice from Martin Lewis' and the heading is 'Martin Lewis: We Are In A Crisis. Follow This Revolutionary Way to Survive Financially'. In the final paragraph it says 'We consult with a great finances expert Martin Lewis ...' at least they got that bit correct! Suffice to say I have not clicked on the 'Read More' links.

From MSE news.
Police issue warning over fake emails claiming to be from Martin Lewis after more than 300 reported in just one week
'Martin's name and face is often wrongly used by fraudsters and just last month Martin, alongside 13 other celebrities … signed an open letter to Boris Johnson, pleading with the Prime Minister to include paid-for scam advertising in the scope of the upcoming Online Safety Bill.
'Currently, there are few meaningful powers to prevent scam adverts from appearing online, and regulators are unable to punish the big tech platforms that get paid to publish them.'
