Window Recycling Schemes/Window Green Allowance Funding/... etc

Has anyone tried buying new windows for their homes using any of these schemes?
Are they simply a scam to harvest data by offering quotes?
Is it best to simply go direct with local window manufacturers?

It seems impossible to find honest real life reviews.

These are usually just marketing gimmicks by window fitting companies.

Instead of a simple sale, it's a "scrappage scheme". As for recycling schemes, if something can be recycled, it's probably cheaper for them to recycle it than paying the landfill tax to dump it.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
