Car insurance job status

Hi everyone!
I'm currently between jobs - finished my previous job at the end of Oct and starting my new one at the start of Jan. For the purposes of getting a car insurance quote, am I 'unemployed'? Or should I put the details of my new/previous job? I know this will make a big impact on the quote. If I am unemployed, would the cost be revised down after I start my job?
Thanks for your help

How are you sustaining yourself right now? Is the gap between work planned or unplanned?
What the right answer is will depend somewhat on what options the website you're using has as they vary considerably.0 -
This was a planned gap just to have a break, so using savings/previous months’ pay right now0

So depending on the options available you are likely to be able to select "independent means" or "house person" at present rather than "unemployed" as you arent seeking other employment nor dependent on benefits etcj_rxzzle said:This was a planned gap just to have a break, so using savings/previous months’ pay right now
Its probably best to quote based on what you think best matches you and before buying contact the insurer/broker in question to make sure they dont ahve a different view.1
