I'm lurking not been on this forum in ages but used to do this challenge every year. Keen to know though for people selling things where are you finding they sell? Reason I ask is I'm trying to sell kids shoes (one pair unworn and the rest worn maybe once or twice and all have their boxes). Yet they don't seem to be selling, price is roughly same if not slightly lower than others and same with postage. Not tried the famous selling site yet just ones on social media.
Good luck with the challenge everyone
I only seem to have luck with selling on Ebay, occasionally I'll sell something vintage on one of my Etsy shops but rarely.  The other one is part of a business so doesn't count as selling "stuff"  ;).  Marketplace and Depop are crap for me.

Good luck with the challenge everyone

On Vinted, I sell my unwanted/no longer clothes. On eBay, I usually sell cosmetics/perfumes (unwanted gifts). I have been selling on eBay for 10+ years and have around 470 positive feedback. Often, I have to relist 3-4 times before it is sold and if i list let's say 100 items, roughly 30-40 are easy to sell. (I don't have 100 items to sell, just giving a %). I also time, if i have unopened cosmetics, and perfumes, I sell them at the end of summer when people start shopping for Christmas gifts. I don't often list clothes when Sales are on etc.

Kids' shoes are harder to sell imo for a variety of reasons but I'd suggest trying the Facebook marketplace if you really want to sell them. Not everything is worth selling so I will often take them to charity shops or put them on Olio.

Nr 76 reporting in for the Month of March:

    Amazon Vc: £5
    United Utilities Credit: £5
Bank Interest: £5.77 (interest for Feb rolled into this month)
    Swagbucks: £74.12
    Nielsen Mobile Panel: £10

    March Total: £99.89

    Year total: £377.67

I got all my Avios points bonuses from hotels, credit card spent and referrals and Nectar Bonuses, but i dont exchange them for cash, prefer to use towards holidays. But if I did exchange it, total worth this month is 110k Avios points, which is 176k nectar points. If converted to Nectar Vc it could be worth roughly £880 spend.

#8 with a delayed update for March (thought I'd already posted it):

    ·         Profits from betting: £90.28

    ·         Overtime/bonuses: £14.04

    ·         Dividends: £121.28 (ii) + £4.72 (Fidelity SIPP) = £126.00

    ·         Bank cashback/interest: £0.12 (Lloyds), £2.95 (Santander) = £3.07

    ·         Grand total: £233.39; YTD: £687.63

So in terms of the year's target, I'm just over a month ahead at this point. I have a salary increase of approx 10% that kicks in this month so overtime will be worth more, and it's also a month where I'm eligible for a quarterly bonus - my manager's already said it will be the same as January, so that will be nearly £200 extra. The dividends are slowly improving, and I know April should be similar to March in terms of payouts. Match betting and developing a side hustle are what I'm going to be planning heading towards the summer, probably the match betting first as I've got more of an idea how to go about that.
